"The Ryle Raiders were able to capture their second 33rd District title win over Boone County in a row Thursday night as they held off the Rebels 46-41 at Cooper High School.
As expected in a rivalry matchup with a district championship on the line, the game got off to a slow start with both teams coming out with a lot of adrenaline. The high intensity and emotional start benefited the defense a whole lot more than the offense.

Despite relying on their zone defense most of the season, Boone came out in a man-to-man defense and did a good job to start. As the game wore on though, Tate Mullins was able to break his defenders down off of the dribble and found some success scoring the ball.
On the offensive end Boone was relying on their guards penetrating and creating instead of pounding the ball into standout post player Trevan Brown. Brown did get 6 points in the first quarter off of second chance buckets though. After the first 8:00 were over, Ryle led 12-10."
