 Operation Christmas Child:
  • Attention awesome Raiders!!! This is the LAST week to collect toys and fill the Operation Christmas Child Boxes
  • Please bring toys, and personal care items to your Monday RAP teacher
  •  All boxes MUST be returned by lunch on Friday to room 217
  • Last year Copper beat us for total boxes collected in Boone County. Let's not let this happen this year!!!!


Blood Drive:
  • Blood Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 24th. Sign-up during lunch Wednesday, Thursday & next Monday to give the gift of life!! 
  • You must be 16 years old to donate


 Student Council:
  • Student Council members...Please check the sign-up sheets on the door of room 241 for the craft show and blood drive
  • This is your last opportunity this semester to earn points


 FBLA T-Shirts:
  • FBLA t-shirts are in! If you do not have a business class, please come see Mrs. Stef in room 138 to receive yours!


American Enterprise:
  • American Enterprise meeting on Thursday!
  • It is a mandatory meeting in order to go on the field trip
  • You must turn in your permission slip forms in rm.119 and attend the meeting
  • We will be getting group and room assignments and going over important information

  • The KEY CLUB is collecting gently used shoes for Master Provisions
  • Please donate any closed toe shoes in all sizes

Chess Club:
  • "To move or not to move - that is the question."
  •  Chess Club will meet to play Tuesday in Room 132 (Mrs. Raterman's room) after school  



JV Challenge Team:
  • Congratulations to the JV Challenge team for their 2nd place overall finish in Saturday's competition.

Raider Riot Canned Food Drive:
  • Senior Class will be collecting can goods at Raider Riot to be donated to a local soup
 kitchen/food pantry
  • So stop by the grocery on your way to Raider Riot, buy a few canned goods, and let's stomp
 out hunger in our community!

  • The main topics will putting together the Techolympics Showcase Team and the field trip to Makerspace on Dec. 15th after school

  • After school math tutoring has been cancelled for Wednesday, November 11, due to a professional development  



Social Studies Honor Society:
  • There will be a brief Social Studies Honor Society meeting after school on Thursday, November 12th in room 115

Operation Christmas Child:
  • Operation Christmas Child is under way! 
  • Please fill the box in your Monday RAP class to make a child's Christmas a joyful one! 
  • The Monday RAP class that turns in the most boxes will receive breakfast or lunch
  • Please turn filled boxes into room 217
  • Contact Mrs. Janowiecki for additional boxes




Student Council:
  • Reminder to all student council members that will we hold our monthly meeting this Thursday Nov. 12th
 in the media center
  • Any artistic members are asked to stay after the meeting to work on items for the craft show for 
additional points
  • Please plan to attend this meeting for important information on our upcoming Blood Drive and the 
craft show























21st Annual Ryle PTSA Craft Show 11/20 - 11/21:

Senior Dinner-Dance:
  • Tickets are on sale before and after school in Room 208
  • Tickets are $40 per person
  • Ticket Request Forms are available outside Room 208
  • Dinner-Dance is scheduled for Saturday, Jan 9, 2016 at the Newport Aquarium
  • Tickets will be on sale until we have a "full house" or Dec 11 (whichever occurs first)



 Chemistry Tutoring:

  • After school chemistry tutoring will be on Friday rather than Thursday this week in room 239 



 Boys Cross Country:
  • Boys Cross Country team should turn their CLEAN uniform, in a zip lock bag with their name on it,  
into Mrs. Deaton in room 201 by Friday November 13

MHS Returning Members:
  • The problem of the week is up and in Mrs. Freihofer's room (209)
  • $10 Dues are due
  • The next meeting is November 16, 2015 at 2:30 in Room 211!



Mathematics Honor Society
  • Applications are available for membership with your math teacher or Mrs. Bates in room 211. 
  • Students must be enrolled in their 4th math class.
  •  A 95 or higher must have been earned in each class to be eligible. 
  •  Applications are due November 18th.



Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA):
  • HOSA application and fees are due Nov. 6th to Room 232.
  • Next meeting is Nov. 18th, Room 232, 2:40.
  • Officer candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves.































 Volunteer Opportunity:

     Hispanic Heritage Month is over and Your Passports are due now
     Give it to your Spanish Teacher if your passport has 5 stamps or more to select the winning passport!!    
     Last day Friday the 6th of November.

Selections Art Show:
 
     Please congratulate Hannah Fancher, Sydney Greene, Anthony Bachelier and Hannah Penix. 
     Their artwork will be displayed at Mount St. Joseph University's "Selections Art Show" and will be 
representing Ryle High School. The show will be running from November 9th-December 4th.
