Raiderettes:
  • The Raiderettes Dance Team is competing in regionals on Saturday, January 30th at Mason County High School in Maysville, KY
  • Competing at 8am and 1pm

  •  Gross Motor Development applications are available in the guidance office


International Travel Night:

You are invited to attend Ryle’s International Travel Night!


Come learn about a trip to Italy, France, Spain, and Switzerland!

Announcements Wednesday, January 27th


Girls Golf:
  • Any girls in grades 9 - 11 that are not currently playing on the Ryle Girls Golf Team and are considering joining the team for the 2016 season there will be an informational meeting with Coach Thornton Monday February 1st at 6:15 p.m. in the Ryle High School Library


Graduate Services:
  • Graduate Services will be in the Upper Commons from 3-7pm on Thursday, Jan 27 for questions and orders for CLASS RINGS or CAP/GOWN/ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • They will return on Friday, Jan 28, for questions and orders during lunch


Attention Seniors:
  • Cap & Gown orders must be received by Graduate Services on or before Feb 15
  • Instructions for ONLINE ORDERING are in the packet you received at the class meeting


Key Club:
  • Key Club Meeting on Wednesday Feb 3rd at 2:30 PM in Media Center
  • All members MUST attend


Dual Enrollment:
  •  Dual Enrollment information for next school year is in the guidance office. Applications are due by February 5th
  • All other applications are due by Feb 5th as well

FBLA:
  • There will be an FBLA meeting in room 139 for all those attending regionals Thursday, January 28th.
  • We will be handing out study materials and textbooks for competitors.
  •  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Stefanopoulos.


Girls Tennis:
  • The Ryle High School Girl's tennis meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday January 26 at 230 pm in room 136.
  •  If you’re interested in playing high school tennis this year please come to the meeting on Tuesday, or contact Coach Collins for more information if you have a conflict.


Polar Bear Plunge:
  • On behalf of the Special Education Department, Peer Tutors, and Gross Motor Development class, we would like to thank all students, staff, and other Ryle personnel for donating toward the Polar Bear Plunge last week during lunch
  • We raised nearly $400 in three days!! If you missed your opportunity to donate, see a member of the special education department to support Special Olympics!!
  • If you were able to donate to Polar Bear Plunge, you should have filled out an entry for a free raffle, courtesy of Raider Bank/Raider Bookstore. 
  •  Please follow @rylebank on Twitter or visit the bank during lunch to find out if you're a lucky winner. 
  • There will be one winner chosen every day for 10 consecutive days.
  • You will have 24 hours to claim your prize. 
  • Thanks for supporting a great cause!



Boys Track & Field:
  • If you are interested in running (3200 Meter, 1600, 800), sprinting (400 Meter, 200, 100, Hurdles), jumping (Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault), or throwing (Shot Put, Discus) see Coach Harden or Coach Echeverria about joining Track and Field.
  • Full team practice begins January 25th, meet in Room 103 after school


Winter Pep Rally:
  • The Winter Pep Rally has been rescheduled to Friday, January 29th

  • If you see students walking around and asking for donations, please ask them about the Polar Bear Plunge and donate for a great cause....Special Olympics!

  • Anyone wishing to play tennis for Ryle this spring, there will be an organizational meeting on Wednesday, January 20th at 2:45pm

Blank State:
  • The local band from Ryle Blank State is playing at Bogarts on January 15
  •  Tickets to the show are $10 and can be purchased on their website Blankstateband.com



TechOlympics:
  • TechOlympics 2016 is Cincinnati's premiere technology competition and expo. 
  •  Here, you'll be able to compete with other schools in challenges ranging from programming to design to networking, with fun events like speed texting and the not-to-be-missed gaming throwdown on Saturday night
  • You'll also be able to get hands-on assistance with creating a professional resume and learning how to conduct yourself during a formal job interview
  • You'll also have direct access to Cincinnati's best employers, many of whom will be looking for summer interns and future co-ops
  • See Mr. Huber for details and/or go to www.techolympics.org to sign up for the event
  • Discount for early registration and financial aid available. Open to everyone.

  • The Boone County Youth Cabinet - in cooperation with Key Club - is sponsoring a clothing drive
  • Bring in usable clothing for children and adults and drop them off in the bins marked for the clothing drive
  • We are collecting from 1/6 through 1/15



Chess Club:
  • "It's Your Move!"
  • Chess Club will meet for competitive play and rankings today in room 132 after school



Math Honor Society:
  • The January MHS meeting will be on Tuesday, January 19th in the Media Center after school

FBLA:
  • FBLA Competition meeting after school on January 6th in the media center for those who are interested in competing this year
