Ryle PTSA Craft Show - Message to All

The following message was sent to all households this afternoon.

Hello, students, parents and staff of Larry A. Ryle High School.  This is your principal, Matthew Turner.

I am calling to notify you that the Ryle PTSA will be hosting their annual craft show at Ryle High School this weekend on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd.  The craft show is the largest in the Northern Kentucky area and is our annual fundraiser for our PTSA.  Proceeds from the craft show go towards hosting our after-prom activities, the responsible young driver program, and other specific classroom and instructional needs.  Please make plans to support this great event.  Volunteers are needed to assist in many areas.  Students may use volunteering at the craft show for part or all of their required 5 hours of community service.

Other special events for your calendars are:

·        Mid-term progress reports for the 2nd quarter grading period will handed out to all students on Monday, December 2nd.

·        Student/Parent scheduling conferences for the 2014-15 school year will be held on Monday, February 17th.  More details will follow.

·        All junior students will be taking the ACT test at Ryle High School on Tuesday, March 4th.  This test will be part of our school accountability and can also count for college admissions.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 384-5300 and our office staff will be glad to assist you.  It is critical that we all work together to keep our students moving in the right direction.

Thank you and remember make it a great day or not, that choice is always yours!

Ryle High School junior Chelsea Fite,17, has completed the work for her Girl Scout Gold Award, the organization's highest acheivement. As part of the Gold Award project, she decorated, laid new carpet, painted and donated items like a washer and a sweeper to the shelter, located on Scott Street in Covington.
