RYLE 5, COOPER 2 – Sophomore designated hitter Hannah Brumbach drove in three runs for the Raiders in a 33rd District semifinal at Cooper.
Brumbach keyed a three-run fourth inning by belting a single past the third baseman, plating two runs. She also singled home a run in the sixth to extend Ryle’s lead to four, 5-1.
Raiders sophomore left-hander Ali Crupper fanned 11 and allowed just one earned run to pick up her 13th win of the season.
Ryle will face Wednesday’s Conner-Boone County winner in the district final at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
