Gaming Club:

               Are you a gamer, PC console, or hand held?  Doesn't matter. Join the gaming club 

               We meet every Tuesday after school in room 235. Excitement lasts until 4:00 PM 

               Bring a game(s) and bring a friend.  See you there!



Attention Students:

      Students who move chairs during lunch--Please remember to put the chairs back where you  found them

Hispanic Heritage Month:

Ryle will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month throughout September 15th-October 15th 

 

 We encourage every student enrolled in a Spanish class to participate in fun cultural activities

 

 Get a passport from Spanish teacher to begin recording points. 2 winners will be awarded $50 gift cards

 

 PARTICIPATE, CELEBRATE, ENJOY!

 

 

 

 Fall Baseball Workouts:

Anyone interested in trying out for the baseball team in the spring should attend

 

 First workout:

10th,11th, 12th Graders Monday 9/21 2:45-4:45 at the field

9th Graders Tue 9/22 4:15-5:30 at the field

 

 Schedule will be passed out at the first workouts

 

 

 Attention Seniors: 

         We have admission representatives from three universities visiting Ryle on:

    Tues., Sept. 22 from Campbellsville University

    Wed., Sept. 23 from Depauw University

    Thurs. Sept.24 from Eastern Kentucky University

All three visits will be during RAP. Please stop by the Guidance Office to sign up if you are interested.

 

 National Honor Society (NHS):

         Gray Middle School needs students to assist teachers in one on one tutoring, particularly in Math

After school tutoring will be Monday -Thursday each week

NHS members can sign up in the Library Media Center if interested

 

 

 Academic Team:

   Any academic team student who has not picked up and turned in their permission form MUST see Mrs. Hockney in Room 208 ASAP. You will not be eligible to play in Tuesday's match at Conner if you have not turned in your form by 2:25 pm on Tues

 

 

Senior Board:

           Senior Board Meeting on Wed, Sept 23 beginning at 2:40. Plan for the meeting to last 1 hour

Congratulations to Jacob Pelton for receiving the Honor Camper award at the YMCA Camp Ernst this past summer!

This award is given to the camper who best demonstrates the YMCA core values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility

 

Out of nearly 3,000 campers who attended Camp Ernst this past summer, Jacob was among the two percent to receive this prestigious award

 Governor's Scholars Program:

         Attention all juniors who are interesting in applying for the Governor's Scholars Program next summer:

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 7 during RAP 2.0.

If you want to attend, you must sign up in the Guidance Office before September 28 in order to be assigned to this Workshop
