This past weekend marks the ending of our fall activities and a successful fall it was.
The cross country teams both competed at the state meet Saturday at the KY Horse Park with the girls placing 14th and the boys 22nd overall. Congratulations go to Junior Gabby Gonzales for placing 2nd in the girls 3A race and to both teams for qualifying for the state championships.
The marching band completed their marching season this past weekend at the Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. Congratulations to the Marching Raiders on a great season.
The football team was eliminated in the second round of the state football playoffs by Louisville St. Xavier on Friday night. The team enjoyed a great season with an 8-4 record, were district runners-up and undefeated against their 3 county rivals.
Our attention will now turn to the winter activities that are gearing up: swimming/diving, wrestling, speech/debate, boys and girls basketball, and the academic team.
