Forty-five Ryle students participated in the national 2015 MathCon competition based upon grade level. Of the 40,000 students nationwide that took the test, Ryle had seven national qualifiers and seven alternates, Of the seven hundred qualifiers from forty-two states and three hundred thirty schools, our students will represent Ryle in Chicago on April 25th at the University of Illinois. Ryle Archery Places 1st at Beechwood
Individual medalists were: Emmet Freeman - top 10th grade male, Caitlyn Klaas - top 11th grade female and Jacob Grimes - top Clout shooter. In addition, Jacob won the overall Grand Champion with his combined score in the NASP team shoot, the 3D shoot and the Clout shoot.
The team has a busy week ahead as they travel to Louisville on Wednesday (March 11) afternoon to compete in the KY State NASP tournament.
Additionally, the team will be competing in the KHSAA regional Tournament on Saturday, March 14 at Pendleton Co HS.
Ryle shooting times are at 2:00 and 3:00pm. If you are looking for something to do this Saturday come out and see the Ryle Archers in action.
