This institute will provide leadership training and support to parents to help them become advocates for improved education. It will be conducted at the Commonwealth Hilton in Florence on September 9-10, September 30 and October 1, and November 4-5, 2011. The institute is open to any parents or other caregivers with children in the public school system.
The Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership is developed by the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, a non-profit citizens' organization that works to improve education for all Kentuckians.
