Hello, students, parents and staff of Larry A. Ryle High School. This is your principal, Matthew Turner.
Tomorrow on Saturday, October 15th, 2011 approximately 250 students will be taking the PSAT test at Ryle High School.
Students taking the PSAT should arrive at Ryle at 7:30 a.m. as the test will start at 8:00 a.m. Enter the building through the front doors as sign-in will be set up in the upper commons. Students should also bring several #2 pencils, their calculator and photo identification, which could be their student ID. The test will last approximately 2 ½ hours.
Students that are driving to the test should park in the faculty parking lot, this is the section of the main lot that is closest to the US 42-Cool Springs entrance to campus.
The PSAT is a part of the SAT testing series and for junior students serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and also the qualifying test for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program. Sophomores are welcome to take the test as space allows. Additionally, taking the PSAT will help prepare students for the SAT college entrance exam.
Good luck to our students as they continue the tradition of academic excellence at Ryle High School.
Thank you and remember make it a great day or not, that choice is always yours!
