On Monday, Lloyd Cooper, passed away at the age of 79 in Raceland, KY.
Lloyd Cooper was the father of the late Randy Cooper, who was the founding principal of Larry A. Ryle High School in 1992 and the namesake of our sister-school Randall K. Cooper High School.
Lloyd Cooper was a great friend and supporter of Ryle High School. Years ago, he and his wife were often seen at Ryle school events. He will be truly missed.
Our condolences and prayers go out to the Cooper family at this time.
University of Michigan Names President After Prior Pick Faced Brain Cancer

The university chose a Vanderbilt academic, Cybele Raver, after a previous
candidate for the role had to step down because of a brain cancer diagnosis.
