With the passage of Senate Bill 1 in the 2009 session of the
Kentucky General Assembly, the Kentucky Department of Education developed a new
accountability system - the Unbridled Learning Accountability Model. Soon we will see the data released from the first
year using this new accountability model in 2011-2012.
This year the Unbridled Learning model will measure schools
in 5 areas with each counting as 20% of a school's accountability score:
- Achievement
- Gap
- Growth
- College/Career Readiness
- Graduation Rate.
