Raiders top No. 4 Notre Dame Academy 60-56

The Ryle and Notre Dame Academy girls' basketball teams gave each other what they wanted Tuesday, a late-season test against a ranked opponent a week before district tournaments begin.
"A game like this against a good team does a nice job preparing you (for the postseason)," Ryle coach Patti Oliverio said. "But you always want that momentum."
The visiting Raiders kept momentum with a hard-fought 60-56 victory, their eighth win in nine games.
Ryle, the top-ranked team in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, has won 15 of its last 17. But the Raiders (21-5) needed to hold off the No. 4 Pandas (16-8).
Abby Jump led Ryle with 15 points and Ashley Cheesman had 14. Defensive stopper Jenna Crittendon added 12 despite foul trouble.
