14th District PTA Reflections Contest 2015

We are proud to announce that 11 Ryle students earned 19 awards in the 14th District PTA Reflections Contest.

FBLA Holiday Food Drive:
  • Help Support Ryle Families by Donating Non-Perishable Food Items to your 5th Period Class!
  • Winning class receives a pizza party!
  • Last Day to bring in items is December 11th


HHS Induction Ceremony:
  • Our Hispanic Honor Society induction ceremony will take place during 6th period TUESDAY DECEMBER 8TH in the AUDITORIUM
  •  All returning & new members are expected to attend. Invitations will be sent out
  • All new and returning members need to attend 
  • Certificates from last year's members will be given
  • Point opportunity if you bring a 2L drink! 


Math Honor Society:
  • MHS will be meeting on Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Media Center at 2:35 P.M.


Purchase Your Yearbook:
  • The 2016 Raider is ON SALE NOW! 
  • The book is $70 through December 11th! Purchase online at www.jostens.com or bring your check to Mrs. Rogers in room 125.
  •  Don't miss out. This is sure to be the best one yet! 


Attention Seniors:
  • The January 13th deadline for senior pictures is quickly approaching! 
  • Please take a minute to call Prestige at 859-578-0110 and schedule your appointment, so you can be featured in the 2016 yearbook as well as the class composite which hangs in the main upstairs hallway.
  • Ladies will be photographed wearing the traditional drape while gentlemen will be photographed wearing a tux. All outfits are supplied by Prestige. 
  • See Mrs. Rogers in room 125 if you have questions 


Raider Football:
  • There will be a football organizational meeting for anyone interested in playing next year on Thursday (12/10/15) after school in the field house.


Chess Club:
  • Last Chess Club meeting of the Year - Come to the Chess Club Christmas Party (If you have reserved a space) Space is limited. See Mrs. Raterman. 


HOSA:
  • HOSA Meeting is Wednesday after school in Room 232
  • HOSA Meetings will be held the second Wednesday of every month


Cross Country Banquet:
  • Tickets are on sale now for the Boys and Girls Cross Country banquet from Mrs. Deaton in room 201, or from Mr. Wihebrink in room 109 from now until Thursday, December 17
  • The cost is $22 per person. Athletes are free and do not need a ticket


Junior Board Meeting:
  • Wednesday, December 9th

Chess Club:
  • "Life is like a game of chess, it changes with each move."-- Chinese Proverb
  • Chess Club will meet to play this Tuesday in Room 132. ALSO.....The Christmas Chess Club Party will be held on Tuesday, December 8th in Room 132 after school. Random draws - compete and eat!
  • You must make a reservation with Mrs. Rat. to attend the party
 

Boys Track:
  • Boys track will have voluntary training beginning Tuesday December 1st. Please meet in Room 103 after school and dress for outside


Ryle Drama:
  • This Thursday, December 3, NKU's Dance Ensemble is coming to Ryle to teach a musical theatre dance workshop from 3-5pm in the auditorium
  • Auditions for Urinetown the Musical are December 14 and 15 from 3-5pm
  • Sign up in Mr. Caudill's room 131 


Boys Cross Country:
  • Congratulations to the following Cross Country Runners:

Mathematics Competition Team:
  • The Ryle Mathematics Competition Team brought home hardware from the November 21st John O'Bryan Mathematics Tournament held at NKU!

 Operation Christmas Child:
  • Attention awesome Raiders!!! This is the LAST week to collect toys and fill the Operation Christmas Child Boxes
  • Please bring toys, and personal care items to your Monday RAP teacher
  •  All boxes MUST be returned by lunch on Friday to room 217
  • Last year Copper beat us for total boxes collected in Boone County. Let's not let this happen this year!!!!


Blood Drive:
  • Blood Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 24th. Sign-up during lunch Wednesday, Thursday & next Monday to give the gift of life!! 
  • You must be 16 years old to donate


 Student Council:
  • Student Council members...Please check the sign-up sheets on the door of room 241 for the craft show and blood drive
  • This is your last opportunity this semester to earn points


 FBLA T-Shirts:
  • FBLA t-shirts are in! If you do not have a business class, please come see Mrs. Stef in room 138 to receive yours!


American Enterprise:
  • American Enterprise meeting on Thursday!
  • It is a mandatory meeting in order to go on the field trip
  • You must turn in your permission slip forms in rm.119 and attend the meeting
  • We will be getting group and room assignments and going over important information
