The Lady Raiders soccer team is selling their candy to raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation, today and tomorrow.

The first FBLA chapter meeting will be held this Wed, Oct. 1 after school in the auditorium. Members should make plans to attend.

Today is the kickoff for the girls soccer team's candy sale. They will be selling candy $1.00 to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

We have a rep from the College of Mount St. Joseph visiting on Tues. Sep. 30th. If you are interested in meeting with them, please stop by the guidance office.

GSTA Meeting: Tues. Sept. 16th, after school till 4 pm in Room 229

Senior students who met the Benchmark Scores in all four areas of the ACT will be receiving notification in 6th period class on Wednesday that they will not have to take the Practice ACT that will be given to the 9th, 11th and 12th grade students.

Obituary for BILLY LEE ISON

Billy Lee Ison, 20, of Walton, KY, was called home to God on Friday, September 5, 2014. He was born July 26, 1994 and is the beloved son of Louise Maynard and the late Billy Ison. Billy is survived by his younger siblings, James Ison and Raelynn Ison, grandmother, Irma Roenker, as well as his mentor, Chuck Adams. Additionally, he leaves behind countless other family members, friends, and coworkers who also grieve the loss of his sudden and tragic passing. Billy’s compassionate soul and loving heart were equally paired with his infectious smile and quick wit. He radiated a unique and bright spirit that made everyone around him feel welcome and at ease. Billy was a responsible young man who was wise beyond his years. He worked full time for Emerson Power Transmission and hoped to one day have his own house on land where he could enjoy riding his quad. He enjoyed his family, friends, outdoors, and vacationing. Billy’s memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of all those who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. 42, Florence, KY on Thursday, 9/11/14 from 5 pm-7:30 pm, funeral service will be held from 7:30-8:00 pm. Billy will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY on 9/12/14 at 11:00 am.
